Why swtor will be better than wow
Enjoy your pink butterfly combat animations and micro-transactions. Well said. Adjective being the object or goal of one's efforts or actions. Guess you missed the post where I said I would like a little more sand in my themepark. Please feel free to accuse me of things that aren't true if it makes you feel better. Quote: Don't come in here and talk down to people, wearing your age like a badge of honour.
I think you're misunderstanding what my replies mean, but I will say this My age is a badge of honor my friend.
I am a veteran that watched kids like many of the ones posting in this thread lose their lives defending a country they loved. You may not care, and you have every right not to, but I do care. I wear my age with honor, whether you like it or not. I also have the right to have a rebuttal in an open forum discussing a topic that I'm interested in. Maybe you should care about others and less about video game contents? Bioware is doing what I want them to do Where's the contradiction there?
That's the difference between me and you. You're a vocal critic with no basis for anything you say. Then again, neither am I, but I play games for fun, not for getting all worked up and picking them apart as if it hurts me personally. Quote: And as for your "entitled brats" comment, you really need to work on your manners.
Judging by your responses, my manners are no more off than yours. But it's ok, you can continue to preach from that soap box and tell me how wrong I am. I will continue to disagree. There is plenty of entitlement in your point. You want what other games have in this game. You call them "standards. If you think that that is "slower and more tedious," then I think you misunderstand what real combat is.
I can assure you, many of my friends didn't have a "resurrect at medcenter" option. I wouldn't expect you to understand the pace at which my life has spanned out. I would hope that you would.
At the end of the day, we can just agree to disagree. And each of them in turn also got the gift of subsription or buying something in return. Due to recent news and everything, i just last weekend also decided to take a look again. The patcher first just downloading the starting areas might seem like a good idea, i very much get it from the technical side. But it right away resulted in the game showing its ugly side.
The others, while they were available at the time i bought the game, were locked and when clicking on it, the game immediately screamed at me that i should pay some money. So even before i was through the character creation, it screamed for cash. I rather picked a free race and moved on. Then i tried to set up my interface there.
Again i immediately ran into articicial limitations. I knew from my older characters, that there would be more toolbars than two available and necessary. So i looked how to get those. Confused about this, i asked a friend who i knew that he also recently returned. He told me that he had more bars available. I waited till the full download was complete, then switched to one of my older characters.
And lo and behold! That character actually had more toolbars unlocked. Unfortunately it also did welcome me back with my character unlike in the character menu now wearing an extremely ugly helmet. You could now credit the game for understanding my problem, as it right away, first thing on the screen, was telling me on how to open the outfit menu. And there it of course, again, asked for money. Within merely minutes of actually playing, it already three times asked me for money, one time even showing off something which very much limits your ability to play the game.
Giving you not enough toolbars for all your abilities on a game of this design! An ugly troll it is. Lurking under the bridge and trying to take your money and, due to how it behaves, being the one not getting mine. It could be that the game behind all that begging for cash actually is rather good.
I could not tell. Its behaviour in this short time disgusted me so much that an uninstall was what i chose to do. I got back into it for a little over a month about a year ago.
It had all the same problems as it did when I stopped playing it 8 or 9 years back, though at least the leveling experience was smoothed out. Did a smidge of the Hutt Cartel, but it was really just more of the same AFAIC, so I stopped that and went back to my push to actually complete the class stories, which I still failed to do becuz I just lost interest in logging in at all.
I really enjoy some of the new areas like Ossus. I can live with Onderon and the atmosphere in Mek-sha is absolutely stunning. If you are going to do the expansions, you should do them on a force wielding character. I would encourage you to go through and experience all the content. New content comes VERY slowly, but you have much to experience for the first time. Sub for a month or two.
You are commenting using your WordPress. You are commenting using your Google account. Only good side is story telling and story content. Or better say was, because onslaught is lacking lets say that.
Ziost is best zone i have ever experienced in any online game, feeling of trying to save doomed world is extremely immense. Taking eternal throne, dueling for life in Dark Council room, attempt to leave Theron to die is almost broke my heart, so i hit escape button and changed my mind, his calling to commander was so real.
Many badass dark side lines and killing scenes. After lame story wow has to offer, swtor look like something beyond imagination, but once story is over you are left with atrocious class design, overbloated ui and lack of end game content. Swtor is the game you come once year or two to catch up with content then return back to wow.
If ESO was tab target like wow that would probably be my main. This for me, some great class story lines in SWtor but once they are done there is not much else to hold your interest. Community General Discussion. Edit: I am new to the game.
