Father who is in heaven prayer

Save us from the time of trial, and deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

He blessed my life in so many ways. Lord, I pray for him in heaven and I ask You to tell him how grateful I am for the memories we made together. Please let him know that I am so thankful for everything he taught me and for helping to make me who I am.

I know he went immediately into Your presence when he left us here on earth. Thank You, my heavenly Father! Please calm my heart about the loss of my earthly father, and comfort him in Heaven.

Please tell him that we miss him dearly, and that we are doing our best to find joy in knowing he is with You. Thank You for loving my dad and making the way for him to be there with You.

Prayer about Seeing Dad Again Dear Jesus, thank You for giving us the beautiful picture of Heaven in Your Word, where you said that there will be no longer would there be any more curse or any more night. I look forward to that time, for I know I will be with You and will be able to see my earthly father in Heaven. Please comfort my dad with the thought that one day we will be together again.

Lord, if I need to make any changes in my life so that I can see him in Heaven, please forgive me and guide me to the assurance of my salvation and my future home in Your presence in Heaven. Prayer for Joy Gracious Lord, sometimes Heaven seems so far away. Please help my heart feel that You are always near to me. My dad is with You now. I know he is enjoying the unbelievable blessing of Your presence. To thee do we send up our sighs mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.

Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile show us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, my spirit rejoices in God my Savior for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant. From this day all generations will call me blessed: the Almighty has done great things for me, and holy is his Name. He has mercy on those who fear him in every generation. He has shown the strength of his arm, he has scattered the proud in their conceit. He has cast down the mighty from their thrones, and has lifted up the lowly.

He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty. He has come to the help of his servant Israel for he remembered his promise of mercy, the promise he made to our fathers, to Abraham and his children forever. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

Hail, holy Queen, mother of Mercy. Hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping, in this vale of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us; and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

O clement, O loving, O sweet virgin Mary. You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Hail Mary Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

He descended into Hell; the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Optional Closing Prayer Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion--inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.

This manifests itself in many scenarios. At times, in an attitude of autonomy, I find myself asserting my independence from God and resisting prayer altogether.

Even in times when I am aware of my need and sincerely want his help, I doubt his presence, power, or care to work in my life. My prayers are consumed with my own ambitions, and I continue to suffer the resulting anxiety that comes with great expectations of surviving or bettering my life in this chaotic world.

I view God as stingy reluctant to bless , and think his answers to my prayers are conditional, based on my spiritual performance. At times I feel confident coming to God in prayer, as though I have earned what I pray for because of all the good I am doing for him.

Sometimes I feel totally unworthy to come to him in prayer because I know I have betrayed and sinned against him. My guilt and shame make me hesitant to come before him. Jesus calls me to instead come to my heavenly Father as a loved and forgiven child, having faith and confidence to come to him based on what Jesus has accomplished on my behalf. In my practice of prayer, I more resemble a spiritually orphaned child…Jesus calls me to instead come to my heavenly Father as a loved and forgiven child.

God knows how prone I am to forget who I am.
